Hello everyone,

In January, the ALL Council will choose a Secretary, Treasurer, and Presiding Officer for the new year.

In particular, Virginia Kelly is planning to step down from the Treasurer's position after three years, so we will need a new treasurer.  This isn't a labor intensive job, as we don't have a massive number of transactions in a year, so if anyone is interested or feeling the call to serve and wants to be considered, please let us know.  The Treasurer will receive and deposit money and disburse funds, keep a spreadsheet or books up to date, along with creating a year end summary of income and expenses.

The Secretary shall record the votes and keep the minutes of meetings, keep the seal of ALL and affix it on all papers requiring said seal, serve notice of meetings of the Council and of the Members, keep appropriate current records showing the Members of ALL, together with their addresses, and shall perform such other duties required by the Council.  

A note here that the Secretary and Treasurer positions can be combined into one position of Secretary/Treasurer, as well.

The Presiding Officer shall see that orders and resolutions of the Council are carried out, shall attend meetings of the Coordinating Council and Officers, shall conduct the day to day business of ALL, and shall perform such other duties required by the Council.

Let us know if you would like to be considered.  Experience is always a bonus, but not required.  Just a good sense of keeping things in order and punctuality in performing tasks in a timely fashion.
