Hi there,

I think it is time to get together, and Eugenia Bryan has offered us the perfect opportunity to make this a reality this upcoming June at Unity Village.

It is my belief that we should do this, not so we can argue over who's right, who has rights to transcripts, who T/Rs better than another, but because we are brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God and it is our spiritual identity and commonality that is far more important than any theological differences in belief.

It is too easy to pick apart words with a critical eye, even to elevate their importance, when we cannot see each other eye to eye, and then alienate and separate.  From experience, I know that person to person, most of the trivialities of difference dissolve in that common desire to be one in the spirit -- to just be with each other.  I know many of you know this too.

It doesn't matter whether you're UB/TeaM, UB/non-TeaM, TeaM/non-UB, or even non-TeaM/non-UB.  If you resonate in the spirit to the purposes of finding God, loving one another, and trying to be of service to this world, then we certainly hope you'll consider attending the Unity Village conference outside Kansas City this June 7-10, 2007.

The Association for Light and Life has graciously decided to sponsor this gathering, and co-host it with folks from the RetreatNetwork, Urantia community, Teaching Mission, MBS, the Women's Corps, and any others that would like to be involved.

It is for all spiritual seekers who resonate to the simple ideals of personal spiritual experience with God and the fellowship of all humanity.  Eugenia Bryan is the local coordinator, and Dolores Nice and Judy Langston, along with myself have formed a committee to carry this thing out.

We are seeking quality, not quantity.  Whether we have 25, 50, or 150 people, we will seek to undergo the "Imaginative Adventure" as the Urantia Book mentions, striving to emphasize worship, service, and fellowship.

This one is not designed to be a conference given by us to you, but rather it is for all of us to give to each other and the surrounding community, that sense of spiritual community and communion that seems sorely lacking in the world today.

We hope you can make it.  

More details will be forthcoming, but please mark your calendars, and plan accordingly.  Thursday, June 7 - Sunday June 10, 2007.
