[tmtranscripts] Unity Village Conference in June

Hey gang, I just wanted to jump out and say my excitement level has risen tonight after attending our ALL Council meeting and hearing about plans from Eugenia Bryan for a gathering this summer at Unity Village in Kansas City.  So far the Retreat Network has agreed to co-sponsor with ALL in some fashion and other groups are open to the possibilities of participating, so we'll see what happens.

It's still very formative, but the dates are set (June 7-10, before the real heat hits), and accomodations should range from very affordable to luxurious now that Unity Village has built a brand new hotel on site to complement the less expensive cottages and inn that already existed.

This conference will probably flow somewhat along the model that was set in Boise a couple years ago which afforded the opportunity for cross-fertilization of people from various groups in a flexible model that ties discussions and varied presentations with an underlying theme.  Expect both UB and Team related activities as part of the mix.

Dolores Nice, Judicella, and myself have agreed to work on the conference committee with Eugenia and we hope to have some meetings soon to discuss more.  Perhaps when she has time, Eugenia will be able to add to my "teaser trailer" with more details, but pencil in June 7-10 for the time being.
