<P>We come here for wisdom, guidance, and friendship; help us to have the
strength and courage to discern your will and act upon it.</P>
<P>Greetings my friends, it is I JarEl.</P>
<P>It is good to be here today amongst you. Welcome to you who are new to our
group and to those who haven’t been here in a while. Today I am going to start
out by back tracking a bit, and I would like to talk about some of the aspects
of the teaching mission and the correcting time.</P>
<P>The correcting time is a designation, given to an effort by Michael, to
actively bring this planet Urantia, the earth you live on, into its rightful
spiritual heritage. This is a tremendous task and undertaking; Since most of the
administration and direction of this task takes place in the unseen world. All
of the action for this program takes place here on the planet in the lives of
you mortals who are here today. This is not the first time that spiritual action
has been awarded to this planet to increase the spiritual dimension of its
inhabitants. Concurrent with the adjudication of Lucifer and the edict from the
Father in Paradise to bring about the progressive spiritualization of Urantia,
Michael has taken it upon himself to more or less be here personally in Spirit,
and with the action of the Melchizedek receivers resident on your planet, of
which there are twelve, headed by Machiventa, my supervisor, the spiritual
administration and headquarters for Urantia has been established. The bringing
down to the planet of the text book revelation called the Urantia Book, has been
the initial stage for the ‘Correcting Time’. First of all, this book was given
to this world so that there would be an accurate account of the spiritual
history and destiny of this world; that members of your society, now and in the
future, would have a reference for the global administration of authority which
will eventually take place on this world. The global brotherhood, and global
religion of the one family of brothers and sisters loving together in the one
family of God.</P>
<P>One of the first things that Michael did was to establish what was called a
Teaching Mission. This initially started through contacts with mortals and
celestial beings. When I use the word celestial beings, I am talking about a
large number of personalities under one heading, basically beings which cannot
be seen by mortal sight contact. Most of the teachers who have volunteered to
come here, not unlike myself, were at one time mortals from an evolutionary
world, who are now at some part into the ascension program in the Universe of
Nebadon. They have volunteered to come to this world and assist Michael in
helping the mortal inhabitants of this world get a grasp on basic spiritual
truths. </P>
<P>The plan is to bring this world to the dawn ages of light and life, and to
prepare fertile ground for some point in the future when a Teacher Son or
Michael may again appear in the flesh on this world. It is rather foolish to
bring such a high being to a world that has no spiritual foundation. So the
Teaching Mission was initiated, so that mortals could have contact with
spiritual counterparts; those of us who are a little ahead of you. In a sense,
this is metaphorical in that when you leave this world and go to the next worlds
of ascension, you will notice that those right above you pass information and
teachings to you, and you, in turn, have the opportunity to pass information and
teaching to those right below you. This is an ongoing process of education
throughout the Universe of Nebadon and the Superuniverse of Orvonton.</P>
<P>This is the way in which knowledge is gained and knowledge is earned. Through
experience first hand, through sharing and passing on these experiences to those
right below you. In this context, Urantia is taking past in its rightful
spiritual heritage. It is getting information about spiritual matters. In a way
which is non-invasive, the free-will prerogatives of each mortal are not in
violation. You are not coerced to be here or to listen to us, and definitely not
coerced into action. </P>
<P>I would like to talk a little about the goals and purpose of the Teaching
Mission and the Correcting Time. There is a tremendous amount of work to be
accomplished to bring this world to the dawn ages of light and life. The reason
why the metaphor ‘Correcting Time’ is used, is to designate the fact that
basically all social systems on the planet need some form of correction,
modifying, which incorporated the good of and to benefit the whole; as opposed
to the effort of the whole for the benefit of the few. We are not her to
drastically change anything overnight or in a designated period of time. We are
here to transform this world of confusion, frustration, bigotry, or racial and
religious antagonism into a world of a kingdom brotherhood with God as the
Father, and love as a way of life. We are here to transform one person at a
time. It is not important for you to feel responsible for changing the world,
nor is any group responsible, but you should begin to discern the importance of
changing yourself. One of our primary concerns is to teach of the Spirit of God
which lives within all men. How to focus in contact, and how to access this
spirit, which is love, into your daily lives. It is by small acts by a few,
which will eventually create the momentum to encourage dramatic and swift acts
among men. So do not be impatient; that spiritually you must first crawl to
establish a vocabulary and foundation upon which to build your spiritual
life.</P>
<P>Let it be known, on Urantia there is tremendous opportunity for spiritual
service, and spiritual growth. I know it is not much consolation, but there are
many of us who are envious of the position that you mortals are in. Not in that
you live on a confused and backward world, but that there are many, many
opportunities and situations in which to bring the love of the Father to another
human being; to one who is vagrant and wanting of such love. To one who is
spiritually misshapen from lack of love. Spiritually vagrant souls searching for
nourishment on this world. As a person who comes to this group, this teaching
mission class, there is no special attachment of any kind to this activity. It
is only hoped that as you begin to access God and begin to see yourself a little
clearer, you begin to access God’s love and begin to give it a little more to
others. That you begin to find ways to access the spirit in others. To see
another as your brother and sister, no matter how they appear, how they act,
what their attitudes may be, and even if they are your enemy. Treat everyone as
a child of God, and not to confront them, but to build a scaffold, a bridge if
you will, over their barriers. A bridge of love, a blanket of love to cover this
whole world. We are not here to tear down. It does no good to tell someone they
are wrong or not correct. There will always be one thing which a person believes
in which you may share something in common. It is important to find this one
thing and develop this aspect of belief into w relationship with another. </P>
<P>Belief is only as important as you are able to act. You meet a person, you
start talking, you have a disagreement, you argue, and wind up leaving, and
saying things which you don’t really mean. They you are wound up in a very
unproductive situation. Rather from a spiritual stand point, stance, you meet
someone and you find something that you can relate to with that person, no
matter what it is. In respect and love you attempt to find a way to listen and
make contact with the spirit of that person. This not about being a missionary,
or walking door to door with the Urantia Book, or teaching mission transcripts,
and telling everyone that you have found the greatest and most awesome
information in the world. This about being beacons of light. About being a
person whose Love alone draws that person towards you, whose love alone will
lighten their hearts and ease their burdened mind, will give them something to
hold on to. </P>
<P>We are not unaware of the human condition on your world, we know how
challenging and difficult this simple task is, for we have all been through it
ourselves. We hold you in love and respect, like Father unconditionally, no
matter how many times you may stumble or forget, how angry, impatient or
frustrated you may get. When you get your head back and balance yourself out--We
are Here, and God is ready to fill your heart with love. </P>
<P>What we are trying to teach is a mind and heart connection. Spiritually is
not mental calisthenics.</P>
<P>Yes, the Urantia Book is a very intellectual tome. It is wonderful to study
and go through the mental gymnastics and understand the deeper and more
pervasive concepts in the universe. But when you open and connect to heart, you
realize that spirituality is a living act. It<I> is</I> how you act. It
<I>is</I> how you act and treat each and every one you encounter. This is our
basic message, that the Light of God dwells within you. You can access this
light and presence by beginning to spent ten to fifteen minutes a day, quieting
you mind; sitting in stillness and being in God’s presence.</P>
<P>Those of you who have found God and believe in him, that have discovered the
effects of this belief in your life; know that He is in you, a part of you. It
is not much of a stretch of the imagination to sit in his presence, albeit this
presence is very subtle, and extremely quiet. So much so that all attempts of
discernment meet with failure at first. You find it very hard to sit still. You
are not hearing anything. You are not feeling anything. It is not dramatic.
Quite the opposite. Sitting in the presence of God is sitting in a place within
eternity. It is sitting in a place you will come to and be in for the rest of
your life. At some point you will begin to discern his presence. You will begin
to need His presence. You will begin to want to experience God. For there will
be nothing else in life which will motivate you. Nothing else which can
stimulate and motivate you mind. That aspect of your spirit and soul which opens
up tremendous opportunity to know true and experience pure love, unconditional
love, brotherhood, sisterhood, a universe family. To be able to know that when
you leave here, you will be reborn into the life and spirit of an ongoing world
of ascension. </P>
<P>You will need courage, faith and strength. You will not be able to find these
counterparts in any other place except through God. Your life and well-being may
become compromised and will only respond to the directness which you respond to
God within you. This is not a very deep and profound thing. It is actually quite
the opposite--simple and easy. It is to begin to open yourself to the
possibility of change. To open yourself up to the idea of becoming more active
in discovering God’s love, through giving this love. So my advise is to now
become disconcerted for impatient about this simple message. For as you begin to
delve into the spiritual potential within your own life, there you will discover
the greatness of spiritual depth which lies within yourself. The dramatic and
profound spirituality will not come through my words, but through your
experiences. The experiences which will transform and change you. </P>
<P>So let us now focus on our heart, let us focus on that area in your chest
around where the heart lies. Not necessarily the physical organ of the heart or
the pumping of the blood, rather the energy of its life. Imagine feeling relaxed
in this area. As you relax in this area, begin to sense and feel this door to
your heart opening. Take the handle and turn it, then push the door open. Begin
to feel the warmth, the life, the love which resides in this place. Begin to
comprehend this place as a spiritual resource, a resource of change, a resource
of transformation. A spiritual resource to connect to everyone in the world.
This is what is known as reconnecting the circuits. We can reconnect the
circuits from Salvington of Nebadon to Urantia of Satania; but we cannot connect
all of the individual circuits between each of you, for this you must do
yourselves. As we begin to connect to each of you individually, you therefore
begin to connect to others, through slow, small acts of kindness. Remember, it
is Michael who is in charge of changing your world. You are in charge of
changing yourselves.</P>
<P>You are all indwelt with a gift. A gift of divine assistance which is a
resource and guide, a guidance mechanism which will always point the way. It is
your responsibility and duty to begin to access the presence of this spirit. To
begin to engage more fully into the dimension which this spirit intends for your
life and personality. So this week as you go about your daily routines, your
work, your family and friends, go into this week, charged with the notion that
"I will see these people through the eyes of love. I will look at them through
my heart, and not through the eyes of my mind. Through the eyes of my heart I
will see them as children of God.’ The person who cuts you off in line
somewhere, any situation that confronts you. Try it this week. Look through the
eyes of your heart, especially when confronted. Begin to see what transpires.
</P>
<P>I thank you for allowing me to share this with you today. Many of you have
not had the opportunity to understand this information. Now I will entertain any
questions you may have.</P>
<P>Student: JarEl, that was a beautiful lesson.</P>
<P>JarEl: It was given to beautiful people.</P>
<P>Student; many times when I go into the stillness, I fall asleep. In the
beginning of making spiritual contact, this falling asleep, is there any
spiritual significance to this? Or should I try to change this and not fall
asleep.</P>
<P>JarEl: What better sleep than to rest in the arms of the Father. But, when
you are awake and alert in the presence of the Father, this is a much different
situation. It is good to experience both of them. </P>
<P>Student: Do you, JarEl, still experience the quiet time in your state?</P>
<P>JarEl: Yes, I do. Even though I am at one with the Father, I have not yet
left this Universe, and I have not yet traversed the Superuniverse. I have not
traversed Havona and paradise, either. As you begin to evolve spiritually, the
dimension of God begins to open up exponentially, what this means is that as you
begin to experience spirituality, God becomes more and more profound, and yes,
sitting in his presence becomes more and more real. There are many levels within
the presence of the Father. You are just beginning to approach the first level.
All levels are wonderful and have tremendous value and influence.</P>
<P>Student; Maybe this is my own experience, but as I go into the quiet time
more and more I am looking forward to this time. Is there anyone else here that
can relate to this? Does anyone have any thing to share in this regard.</P>
<P>Student: Lately, I have been thinking that I don’t have to just sit here, so
to speak, get busy and stay in contact with God. Imagine whatever work you do ,
you do with God, he is right there. Just keep that contact, and experience with
him what ever he is doing. DO you have any comments JarEl?</P>
<P>JarEl: No.</P>
<P>Student: I find that when I get tied up with material things like mopping
floors and such, that things don’t always work out right, but if I have contact
with the Father, everything just sails along so beautiful, fits into places and
in time I get more accomplished, other wise I am fighting myself. It works out
so smooth.</P>
<P>Student: For several months I did not meditate. The quality of my life began
to become compromised. In the last month I have been actively meditating,
everyday, and lately I have been experiencing a profound sense of vitality and
connectedness. It is a very profound experience.</P>
<P>Student: I am always looking for more energy. I did yoga for about three
weeks and I got a great benefit from this. Then one reason or another I stopped.
Recently I started again. By Exercising our physical body by stretching, etc.,
does this help with our access with our spirituality.</P>
<P>JarEl: In a round about way it does. It is important to feel good physically.
It is also important to experience health and vitality. Therefore your spiritual
counterpart will parallel. If you are in pain and suffering all of the time. It
is going to be very challenging to experience tremendous spiritualism and
spiritual vitality in a body that is unparalleled to this experience. As a
matter of fact, you are not going to experience this, you are going to
experience depression and doubt. Don’t miss understand what I am saying; just
because you are healthy and exercising doesn’t mean that your spiritual life
will be better, that is not what I am saying, but there is a parallel
relationship between the two, that once you begin to feel vital and healthy
within yourself. It is much easier and it facilitates the spiritual work It is
much easier to go around in a loving attitude, much more difficult is you are
still hurting or incapacitated, and have migraine headaches. There is a
relationship, not that one engages the other, but rather one supports and
facilitates the other.</P>
<P>Student: I have a girl friend, and in the beginning our relationship was so
powerful that I could feel her spirit touching me from far away. I just had to
hear her voice and felt her envelop me completely. Lately I haven’t felt her,
and I believe it is related to problems we have been having recently. My
question is , I want that feeling beck again and I don’t know how to get it
back. I don’t know how to get my spirit to touch her and sometimes I need it in
order for me to love her.</P>
<P>JarEl: My friend, you are partaking in one of the greatest mysteries of all
time. It is true of all relationships. Sometimes one glimpses an experience with
God that is so profound and direct that person spends his life, and several
other lives, seeking to regain that which he or she once felt. The connection,
the amorous connection between mortals are attached to the same spiritual
phenomenon, you connect on a spirit level. The connection initially is
tremendously powerful, for when the connection if made, it goes through every
circuit in your system. It is enlivening, it is vital, it vibrates, and the
sensations are tremendous. It is what attracts two people together. </P>
<P>But it is not what keeps them together. What keeps them together is a sincere
effort that both of you partake to maintain it. That effort is called life. At
times you will again glimpse this spirit. It happens again when you have
children, and again when you become a grand parent. There are times when these
connections are more powerful. Do not loose faith in doubt. IT is not this
feeling which makes the relationship, though what you felt was a gift. An
acknowledgment that both felt the same. You will both discern this connection
but in different ways. Begin to open yourself to the possibility of other ways
to begin to sense this connection.</P>
<P>Student: This is a beautiful description of what to do and how to maintain a
marriage.</P>
<P>Student: As was asked earlier, I would to say that I too fall asleep when I
intend to go into the quiet time. I was glad to hear you say that it is good to
sleep in the arms of the Father, I have never thought of it that way, though. I
think that this is not too uncommon.</P>
<P>Student: My experience lately is just trying to go asleep at night, because I
have a terrible time falling asleep. Finding a point where I can say to Father,
I want to sleep in your arms, and I sleep much better, instead of laying there
and trying to rehash to whole day.</P>
<P>Student: I have a question about the lesson. Lately I have gotten a lot of
information from different people connected with the teaching mission, about
spiritual experiences which they had, and in particular one who was visited by
an Avonal Son about a future materialization, with helpers in the flesh, and
which may be happening in the next fifty years. Can you comment on that? Also he
was told that it was not to take over the government, but to place training
centers all over the world and train people to send back into the community.</P>
<P>JarEl: As time progresses, more and more information is filtered down through
people and individuals. This information is to prepare people to entertain the
idea that at sometime in the future these events will come to pass. Yes, in a
sense we are dangling a carrot, but more that we are preparing you mortals, on
this earth for the time when greater spiritual beings, even a magisterial son,
even Michael will return in the flesh and attend to the spiritual duties of
teaching and uplifting the moral character and spiritual fiber of the
inhabitants of this world. Do you not remember reading in the Urantia Book about
the brave and valiant Van and Amadon.</P>
<P>Van, who lived for thousands and thousands of years initially as part of
Prince Caligastia’s staff.</P>
<P>He was not released from duty with his human counterpart Amadon, until that
eventful day when the material son and daughter were placed in rulership on
Urantia by the Melchizedek receivers. </P>
<P>For hundreds of years Van and Amadon taught and built a garden to prepare for
the arrival of the material son and daughter. Generation, after generation,
after generation, after generation, of mortals were used to build this garden,
each generation anticipated the material son and daughter coming in their
lifetime. Tremendous disappointments and doubts began to occur. These people
began to wonder if this was all in vain, or if they were being misled. </P>
<P>What is important here is not <I>when</I> these spiritual beings will
materialize in the flesh, but that the ground must be prepared for them to come.
Quite frankly the ground is not prepared at this moment for a magisterial son to
some to Urantia, Contrary to what some may feel or think, this would not make
the mission any easier, and not make you life and world of transformation any
different. You would not progress spiritually any faster is a material son was
here in the flesh or not. But when the world is ready and a sufficient number of
beings are evolved, Michael and a Son may both appear simultaneously, then the
efforts of coordinating and training will be forth coming and very fruitful. To
address the second part of your question. It is correct that as a spiritual
administration the most important part is to come and teach. To train the people
of the planet, and to evolve individually the inhabitants of this world. They do
not come to set up a political government, much like Michael was here on the
planet, he did not in any way interfere in the politics of men. Knowing full
well that the politics of men would eventually respond to the spiritual
dimension of the individual components and members of society. The politics of
men cannot evolve until men themselves are evolved. The politics are a necessary
part of human physical government. The love of the Father is a necessary part of
the Human spiritual government.</P>
<P>Student: The think is to not put a time on it.</P>
<P>JarEl: No, these things may be wonderful, confusing at first, especially if
they were premature. But this is the plan for Urantia. In all actuality and
truth, this is why we are here, to prepare the spiritual soil within the minds
of the mortals on Urantia, for the arrival of the great spiritual teacher. </P>
<P>Student: Then we are the Vans and Amadons</P>
<P>JarEl: You are the first organisms on a large scale who are activated to
transform the spiritual soil on Urantia.</P>
<P>Student: By spreading the love of the Father to everyone whom we meet,
correct.</P>
<P>JarEl: this is correct.</P>
<P>Student: I feel very honored to be called.</P>
<P>JarEl: It is an honor to answer.</P>
<P>Student: When we meet people in our everyday activities. Should we get on the
same level as the person we are talking to , and when we do, should we
eventually get into a discussion about God, talk about God, or just leave it at
the level of loving that person.</P>
<P>JarEl: That’s all. Just to spread love. When that person asks about God, is
when <I>you</I> have created an opportunity to connect with that person’s
spirit. At that point the opportunity to share spirit to spirit will present
itself. The only way to win over anyone is with love. Words are irrelevant, and
not as important. The words of love, and the words used with love will find a
way to bridge spirit to spirit. To connect over all of the obstacles, beliefs,
needs wants, no matter what these obstacles may be. IT is initially important to
practice these. When you are truly practicing love, then you begin to connect to
people who will be inquisitive about how you got to where you are. Even then, if
you strongly feel a need to say something ‘spiritual’ to someone, all that is
necessary to say is that you are all children of God and as children of God you
are one family with God as the Father and Mother, and as a family you are all
brothers and sisters. The way you connect to each other is through love and
small acts of kindness. It is not important to proselytize the Urantia Book or
the teaching mission, or any belief system, proselytize love. When it is
important to discuss sources of love and inspiration, you will know then.</P>
<P>Student: There have been occasions lately when I have meet homeless people. I
ask then what is going on in their lives. I ask them, in a loving way how they
got to where they are. I ask them if they Pray to God. Sometimes some say they
pray. Sometimes they respond, but don’t seem very enthused.</P>
<P>Student: You are practicing being Godlike. We should all practice being God
like even though we don’t feel it. We should all practice enough until we get
the feeling for it, godlike is what we get from our lessons, love, courage,
wisdom, peace, mercy, forgiveness. All those beautiful words we hear just
practicing being like God. God is within us, and we can express it, but we have
to practice it first.</P>
<P>Student: It makes me feel good to reach out to people in disparity. It seems
to uplift them I am wondering if it is appropriate to talk to God in those
instances when you are talking to someone who are at the bottom.</P>
<P>JarEl: Your own inner guidance can direct you in these matters. IT is not for
me to say what is appropriate on e way or the other. The least effort you are
asked to make is to show love and kindness in whatever form this may take.</P>
<P>Student: reminds me of a theme in touched by an angel when they say that God
loves you and they say, yea, but looks what he’s done to me and why can’t he
help me out of this. Which is their initial response, and if they keep after it
they will eventually begin to see.</P>
<P>Student: The most profound statement I have heard in the Urantia Book so far
is Love destroys Hate. Sometimes you wonder is this works, but it does. </P>
<P>JarEl: Sometimes it is very difficult to explain to people that the way in
which God helps them is to provide opportunities for them to help themselves.
Misappropriated opportunities is a problem for the human not for God. It is very
difficult to explain this to one who has not taken advantage of opportunities in
a way which they would have been productive for that individual. At times it is
the individual who detains themselves and encumber situations in which they fell
backed against a corner and they feel God is supposed to bail them out. In all
actuality God will, is they so believe it, though not maybe in the way they
expect to be bailed out. It is a challenging situation with which you are
presented in your life on this world, congratulations.</P>
<P>Students: thanks a Lot.</P>
<P>Student: I have a little curiosity about saying is this all there is. Do you
ever get bored in life? Does boredom happen on the other side as well as
here?</P>
<P>JarEl: Boredom is a matter of perspective my friend, and is this all there
is, is never ending. Put yourself in Gods’ place in side any mortal on Urantia
and you tell me what boredom is. (Laughter)</P>
<P>I do not mean this as a joke, but as serious introspection to your own
dilemma or question which may concern you. It is a matter of perspective. God
finds it immensely challenging to be here on this world within you mortals at
this moment.</P>
<P>Student: and loving it all the way, eh!</P>
<P>JarEl: very much so. It is exciting! You do not fully comprehend yet the
tremendous opportunity that awaits this call to spread the love of the Father.
It is anything but boring.</P>
<P>What is boring is the hundreds of thousands of people in your country who go
out every day and try to get satisfaction by spending money and buying things,
only to come home and realize they are still not satisfied. To meet a person who
they love and have a wonderful time with and realize they are still not
satisfied. There is no satisfaction and no excitement really short of knowing
God. To begin to attempt to know God is to begin to see the world with new eyes,
with a new mind, a new thought pattern, a new vision. For as you begin to know
God you will begin to see things in ordinary life which you have never saw that
way before. The veil will be lifted and you will begin to see the real spirit in
all living systems, in all beings and personalities. Boredom comes from clouded
vision, worn thought, pattered behavior.</P>
<P>Student: I like the statement we have on our refrigerator door, swindler,
that life is that life is ninety percent of our attitude we have towards it, and
ten percent is what happens to us. It is how we approach life and problems,
ninety percent our attitude. We see that so often people who look at the same
situations we do and they look it in a very negative way when you can look it in
a very positive way.</P>
<P>JarEl: It is the attempt of us teachers to inspire this God vision. This new
attitude, so that Urantia will become a worthy, fruitful and exciting place to
live again. It is getting better.</P>
<P>Student: We need to see the mighty loveliness of God. Will we still find
conflict very exciting.</P>
<P>JarEl: You will eventually find conflict that not exciting, yet tremendously
enduring. The more spiritual you become, the more you will begin to resolve
conflict and see its immaturity in imperfection of the universes. It is only
when you pass through the portal of time and space and land on the eternal
worlds of Paradise and Havona, when you will truly begin to experience reality
devoid of conflict, reality consisting only of eternal peace, prosperity and
happiness. It is in this dimension that you will begin to comprehend God as the
source of eternal peace, eternal prosperity and eternal; happiness. Thank you my
friends.</P>

strength and courage to discern your will and act upon it.</P>
<P>Greetings my friends, it is I JarEl.</P>
<P>It is good to be here today amongst you. Welcome to you who are new to our
group and to those who haven’t been here in a while. Today I am going to start
out by back tracking a bit, and I would like to talk about some of the aspects
of the teaching mission and the correcting time.</P>
<P>The correcting time is a designation, given to an effort by Michael, to
actively bring this planet Urantia, the earth you live on, into its rightful
spiritual heritage. This is a tremendous task and undertaking; Since most of the
administration and direction of this task takes place in the unseen world. All
of the action for this program takes place here on the planet in the lives of
you mortals who are here today. This is not the first time that spiritual action
has been awarded to this planet to increase the spiritual dimension of its
inhabitants. Concurrent with the adjudication of Lucifer and the edict from the
Father in Paradise to bring about the progressive spiritualization of Urantia,
Michael has taken it upon himself to more or less be here personally in Spirit,
and with the action of the Melchizedek receivers resident on your planet, of
which there are twelve, headed by Machiventa, my supervisor, the spiritual
administration and headquarters for Urantia has been established. The bringing
down to the planet of the text book revelation called the Urantia Book, has been
the initial stage for the ‘Correcting Time’. First of all, this book was given
to this world so that there would be an accurate account of the spiritual
history and destiny of this world; that members of your society, now and in the
future, would have a reference for the global administration of authority which
will eventually take place on this world. The global brotherhood, and global
religion of the one family of brothers and sisters loving together in the one
family of God.</P>
<P>One of the first things that Michael did was to establish what was called a
Teaching Mission. This initially started through contacts with mortals and
celestial beings. When I use the word celestial beings, I am talking about a
large number of personalities under one heading, basically beings which cannot
be seen by mortal sight contact. Most of the teachers who have volunteered to
come here, not unlike myself, were at one time mortals from an evolutionary
world, who are now at some part into the ascension program in the Universe of
Nebadon. They have volunteered to come to this world and assist Michael in
helping the mortal inhabitants of this world get a grasp on basic spiritual
truths. </P>
<P>The plan is to bring this world to the dawn ages of light and life, and to
prepare fertile ground for some point in the future when a Teacher Son or
Michael may again appear in the flesh on this world. It is rather foolish to
bring such a high being to a world that has no spiritual foundation. So the
Teaching Mission was initiated, so that mortals could have contact with
spiritual counterparts; those of us who are a little ahead of you. In a sense,
this is metaphorical in that when you leave this world and go to the next worlds
of ascension, you will notice that those right above you pass information and
teachings to you, and you, in turn, have the opportunity to pass information and
teaching to those right below you. This is an ongoing process of education
throughout the Universe of Nebadon and the Superuniverse of Orvonton.</P>
<P>This is the way in which knowledge is gained and knowledge is earned. Through
experience first hand, through sharing and passing on these experiences to those
right below you. In this context, Urantia is taking past in its rightful
spiritual heritage. It is getting information about spiritual matters. In a way
which is non-invasive, the free-will prerogatives of each mortal are not in
violation. You are not coerced to be here or to listen to us, and definitely not
coerced into action. </P>
<P>I would like to talk a little about the goals and purpose of the Teaching
Mission and the Correcting Time. There is a tremendous amount of work to be
accomplished to bring this world to the dawn ages of light and life. The reason
why the metaphor ‘Correcting Time’ is used, is to designate the fact that
basically all social systems on the planet need some form of correction,
modifying, which incorporated the good of and to benefit the whole; as opposed
to the effort of the whole for the benefit of the few. We are not her to
drastically change anything overnight or in a designated period of time. We are
here to transform this world of confusion, frustration, bigotry, or racial and
religious antagonism into a world of a kingdom brotherhood with God as the
Father, and love as a way of life. We are here to transform one person at a
time. It is not important for you to feel responsible for changing the world,
nor is any group responsible, but you should begin to discern the importance of
changing yourself. One of our primary concerns is to teach of the Spirit of God
which lives within all men. How to focus in contact, and how to access this
spirit, which is love, into your daily lives. It is by small acts by a few,
which will eventually create the momentum to encourage dramatic and swift acts
among men. So do not be impatient; that spiritually you must first crawl to
establish a vocabulary and foundation upon which to build your spiritual
life.</P>
<P>Let it be known, on Urantia there is tremendous opportunity for spiritual
service, and spiritual growth. I know it is not much consolation, but there are
many of us who are envious of the position that you mortals are in. Not in that
you live on a confused and backward world, but that there are many, many
opportunities and situations in which to bring the love of the Father to another
human being; to one who is vagrant and wanting of such love. To one who is
spiritually misshapen from lack of love. Spiritually vagrant souls searching for
nourishment on this world. As a person who comes to this group, this teaching
mission class, there is no special attachment of any kind to this activity. It
is only hoped that as you begin to access God and begin to see yourself a little
clearer, you begin to access God’s love and begin to give it a little more to
others. That you begin to find ways to access the spirit in others. To see
another as your brother and sister, no matter how they appear, how they act,
what their attitudes may be, and even if they are your enemy. Treat everyone as
a child of God, and not to confront them, but to build a scaffold, a bridge if
you will, over their barriers. A bridge of love, a blanket of love to cover this
whole world. We are not here to tear down. It does no good to tell someone they
are wrong or not correct. There will always be one thing which a person believes
in which you may share something in common. It is important to find this one
thing and develop this aspect of belief into w relationship with another. </P>
<P>Belief is only as important as you are able to act. You meet a person, you
start talking, you have a disagreement, you argue, and wind up leaving, and
saying things which you don’t really mean. They you are wound up in a very
unproductive situation. Rather from a spiritual stand point, stance, you meet
someone and you find something that you can relate to with that person, no
matter what it is. In respect and love you attempt to find a way to listen and
make contact with the spirit of that person. This not about being a missionary,
or walking door to door with the Urantia Book, or teaching mission transcripts,
and telling everyone that you have found the greatest and most awesome
information in the world. This about being beacons of light. About being a
person whose Love alone draws that person towards you, whose love alone will
lighten their hearts and ease their burdened mind, will give them something to
hold on to. </P>
<P>We are not unaware of the human condition on your world, we know how
challenging and difficult this simple task is, for we have all been through it
ourselves. We hold you in love and respect, like Father unconditionally, no
matter how many times you may stumble or forget, how angry, impatient or
frustrated you may get. When you get your head back and balance yourself out--We
are Here, and God is ready to fill your heart with love. </P>
<P>What we are trying to teach is a mind and heart connection. Spiritually is
not mental calisthenics.</P>
<P>Yes, the Urantia Book is a very intellectual tome. It is wonderful to study
and go through the mental gymnastics and understand the deeper and more
pervasive concepts in the universe. But when you open and connect to heart, you
realize that spirituality is a living act. It<I> is</I> how you act. It
<I>is</I> how you act and treat each and every one you encounter. This is our
basic message, that the Light of God dwells within you. You can access this
light and presence by beginning to spent ten to fifteen minutes a day, quieting
you mind; sitting in stillness and being in God’s presence.</P>
<P>Those of you who have found God and believe in him, that have discovered the
effects of this belief in your life; know that He is in you, a part of you. It
is not much of a stretch of the imagination to sit in his presence, albeit this
presence is very subtle, and extremely quiet. So much so that all attempts of
discernment meet with failure at first. You find it very hard to sit still. You
are not hearing anything. You are not feeling anything. It is not dramatic.
Quite the opposite. Sitting in the presence of God is sitting in a place within
eternity. It is sitting in a place you will come to and be in for the rest of
your life. At some point you will begin to discern his presence. You will begin
to need His presence. You will begin to want to experience God. For there will
be nothing else in life which will motivate you. Nothing else which can
stimulate and motivate you mind. That aspect of your spirit and soul which opens
up tremendous opportunity to know true and experience pure love, unconditional
love, brotherhood, sisterhood, a universe family. To be able to know that when
you leave here, you will be reborn into the life and spirit of an ongoing world
of ascension. </P>
<P>You will need courage, faith and strength. You will not be able to find these
counterparts in any other place except through God. Your life and well-being may
become compromised and will only respond to the directness which you respond to
God within you. This is not a very deep and profound thing. It is actually quite
the opposite--simple and easy. It is to begin to open yourself to the
possibility of change. To open yourself up to the idea of becoming more active
in discovering God’s love, through giving this love. So my advise is to now
become disconcerted for impatient about this simple message. For as you begin to
delve into the spiritual potential within your own life, there you will discover
the greatness of spiritual depth which lies within yourself. The dramatic and
profound spirituality will not come through my words, but through your
experiences. The experiences which will transform and change you. </P>
<P>So let us now focus on our heart, let us focus on that area in your chest
around where the heart lies. Not necessarily the physical organ of the heart or
the pumping of the blood, rather the energy of its life. Imagine feeling relaxed
in this area. As you relax in this area, begin to sense and feel this door to
your heart opening. Take the handle and turn it, then push the door open. Begin
to feel the warmth, the life, the love which resides in this place. Begin to
comprehend this place as a spiritual resource, a resource of change, a resource
of transformation. A spiritual resource to connect to everyone in the world.
This is what is known as reconnecting the circuits. We can reconnect the
circuits from Salvington of Nebadon to Urantia of Satania; but we cannot connect
all of the individual circuits between each of you, for this you must do
yourselves. As we begin to connect to each of you individually, you therefore
begin to connect to others, through slow, small acts of kindness. Remember, it
is Michael who is in charge of changing your world. You are in charge of
changing yourselves.</P>
<P>You are all indwelt with a gift. A gift of divine assistance which is a
resource and guide, a guidance mechanism which will always point the way. It is
your responsibility and duty to begin to access the presence of this spirit. To
begin to engage more fully into the dimension which this spirit intends for your
life and personality. So this week as you go about your daily routines, your
work, your family and friends, go into this week, charged with the notion that
"I will see these people through the eyes of love. I will look at them through
my heart, and not through the eyes of my mind. Through the eyes of my heart I
will see them as children of God.’ The person who cuts you off in line
somewhere, any situation that confronts you. Try it this week. Look through the
eyes of your heart, especially when confronted. Begin to see what transpires.
</P>
<P>I thank you for allowing me to share this with you today. Many of you have
not had the opportunity to understand this information. Now I will entertain any
questions you may have.</P>
<P>Student: JarEl, that was a beautiful lesson.</P>
<P>JarEl: It was given to beautiful people.</P>
<P>Student; many times when I go into the stillness, I fall asleep. In the
beginning of making spiritual contact, this falling asleep, is there any
spiritual significance to this? Or should I try to change this and not fall
asleep.</P>
<P>JarEl: What better sleep than to rest in the arms of the Father. But, when
you are awake and alert in the presence of the Father, this is a much different
situation. It is good to experience both of them. </P>
<P>Student: Do you, JarEl, still experience the quiet time in your state?</P>
<P>JarEl: Yes, I do. Even though I am at one with the Father, I have not yet
left this Universe, and I have not yet traversed the Superuniverse. I have not
traversed Havona and paradise, either. As you begin to evolve spiritually, the
dimension of God begins to open up exponentially, what this means is that as you
begin to experience spirituality, God becomes more and more profound, and yes,
sitting in his presence becomes more and more real. There are many levels within
the presence of the Father. You are just beginning to approach the first level.
All levels are wonderful and have tremendous value and influence.</P>
<P>Student; Maybe this is my own experience, but as I go into the quiet time
more and more I am looking forward to this time. Is there anyone else here that
can relate to this? Does anyone have any thing to share in this regard.</P>
<P>Student: Lately, I have been thinking that I don’t have to just sit here, so
to speak, get busy and stay in contact with God. Imagine whatever work you do ,
you do with God, he is right there. Just keep that contact, and experience with
him what ever he is doing. DO you have any comments JarEl?</P>
<P>JarEl: No.</P>
<P>Student: I find that when I get tied up with material things like mopping
floors and such, that things don’t always work out right, but if I have contact
with the Father, everything just sails along so beautiful, fits into places and
in time I get more accomplished, other wise I am fighting myself. It works out
so smooth.</P>
<P>Student: For several months I did not meditate. The quality of my life began
to become compromised. In the last month I have been actively meditating,
everyday, and lately I have been experiencing a profound sense of vitality and
connectedness. It is a very profound experience.</P>
<P>Student: I am always looking for more energy. I did yoga for about three
weeks and I got a great benefit from this. Then one reason or another I stopped.
Recently I started again. By Exercising our physical body by stretching, etc.,
does this help with our access with our spirituality.</P>
<P>JarEl: In a round about way it does. It is important to feel good physically.
It is also important to experience health and vitality. Therefore your spiritual
counterpart will parallel. If you are in pain and suffering all of the time. It
is going to be very challenging to experience tremendous spiritualism and
spiritual vitality in a body that is unparalleled to this experience. As a
matter of fact, you are not going to experience this, you are going to
experience depression and doubt. Don’t miss understand what I am saying; just
because you are healthy and exercising doesn’t mean that your spiritual life
will be better, that is not what I am saying, but there is a parallel
relationship between the two, that once you begin to feel vital and healthy
within yourself. It is much easier and it facilitates the spiritual work It is
much easier to go around in a loving attitude, much more difficult is you are
still hurting or incapacitated, and have migraine headaches. There is a
relationship, not that one engages the other, but rather one supports and
facilitates the other.</P>
<P>Student: I have a girl friend, and in the beginning our relationship was so
powerful that I could feel her spirit touching me from far away. I just had to
hear her voice and felt her envelop me completely. Lately I haven’t felt her,
and I believe it is related to problems we have been having recently. My
question is , I want that feeling beck again and I don’t know how to get it
back. I don’t know how to get my spirit to touch her and sometimes I need it in
order for me to love her.</P>
<P>JarEl: My friend, you are partaking in one of the greatest mysteries of all
time. It is true of all relationships. Sometimes one glimpses an experience with
God that is so profound and direct that person spends his life, and several
other lives, seeking to regain that which he or she once felt. The connection,
the amorous connection between mortals are attached to the same spiritual
phenomenon, you connect on a spirit level. The connection initially is
tremendously powerful, for when the connection if made, it goes through every
circuit in your system. It is enlivening, it is vital, it vibrates, and the
sensations are tremendous. It is what attracts two people together. </P>
<P>But it is not what keeps them together. What keeps them together is a sincere
effort that both of you partake to maintain it. That effort is called life. At
times you will again glimpse this spirit. It happens again when you have
children, and again when you become a grand parent. There are times when these
connections are more powerful. Do not loose faith in doubt. IT is not this
feeling which makes the relationship, though what you felt was a gift. An
acknowledgment that both felt the same. You will both discern this connection
but in different ways. Begin to open yourself to the possibility of other ways
to begin to sense this connection.</P>
<P>Student: This is a beautiful description of what to do and how to maintain a
marriage.</P>
<P>Student: As was asked earlier, I would to say that I too fall asleep when I
intend to go into the quiet time. I was glad to hear you say that it is good to
sleep in the arms of the Father, I have never thought of it that way, though. I
think that this is not too uncommon.</P>
<P>Student: My experience lately is just trying to go asleep at night, because I
have a terrible time falling asleep. Finding a point where I can say to Father,
I want to sleep in your arms, and I sleep much better, instead of laying there
and trying to rehash to whole day.</P>
<P>Student: I have a question about the lesson. Lately I have gotten a lot of
information from different people connected with the teaching mission, about
spiritual experiences which they had, and in particular one who was visited by
an Avonal Son about a future materialization, with helpers in the flesh, and
which may be happening in the next fifty years. Can you comment on that? Also he
was told that it was not to take over the government, but to place training
centers all over the world and train people to send back into the community.</P>
<P>JarEl: As time progresses, more and more information is filtered down through
people and individuals. This information is to prepare people to entertain the
idea that at sometime in the future these events will come to pass. Yes, in a
sense we are dangling a carrot, but more that we are preparing you mortals, on
this earth for the time when greater spiritual beings, even a magisterial son,
even Michael will return in the flesh and attend to the spiritual duties of
teaching and uplifting the moral character and spiritual fiber of the
inhabitants of this world. Do you not remember reading in the Urantia Book about
the brave and valiant Van and Amadon.</P>
<P>Van, who lived for thousands and thousands of years initially as part of
Prince Caligastia’s staff.</P>
<P>He was not released from duty with his human counterpart Amadon, until that
eventful day when the material son and daughter were placed in rulership on
Urantia by the Melchizedek receivers. </P>
<P>For hundreds of years Van and Amadon taught and built a garden to prepare for
the arrival of the material son and daughter. Generation, after generation,
after generation, after generation, of mortals were used to build this garden,
each generation anticipated the material son and daughter coming in their
lifetime. Tremendous disappointments and doubts began to occur. These people
began to wonder if this was all in vain, or if they were being misled. </P>
<P>What is important here is not <I>when</I> these spiritual beings will
materialize in the flesh, but that the ground must be prepared for them to come.
Quite frankly the ground is not prepared at this moment for a magisterial son to
some to Urantia, Contrary to what some may feel or think, this would not make
the mission any easier, and not make you life and world of transformation any
different. You would not progress spiritually any faster is a material son was
here in the flesh or not. But when the world is ready and a sufficient number of
beings are evolved, Michael and a Son may both appear simultaneously, then the
efforts of coordinating and training will be forth coming and very fruitful. To
address the second part of your question. It is correct that as a spiritual
administration the most important part is to come and teach. To train the people
of the planet, and to evolve individually the inhabitants of this world. They do
not come to set up a political government, much like Michael was here on the
planet, he did not in any way interfere in the politics of men. Knowing full
well that the politics of men would eventually respond to the spiritual
dimension of the individual components and members of society. The politics of
men cannot evolve until men themselves are evolved. The politics are a necessary
part of human physical government. The love of the Father is a necessary part of
the Human spiritual government.</P>
<P>Student: The think is to not put a time on it.</P>
<P>JarEl: No, these things may be wonderful, confusing at first, especially if
they were premature. But this is the plan for Urantia. In all actuality and
truth, this is why we are here, to prepare the spiritual soil within the minds
of the mortals on Urantia, for the arrival of the great spiritual teacher. </P>
<P>Student: Then we are the Vans and Amadons</P>
<P>JarEl: You are the first organisms on a large scale who are activated to
transform the spiritual soil on Urantia.</P>
<P>Student: By spreading the love of the Father to everyone whom we meet,
correct.</P>
<P>JarEl: this is correct.</P>
<P>Student: I feel very honored to be called.</P>
<P>JarEl: It is an honor to answer.</P>
<P>Student: When we meet people in our everyday activities. Should we get on the
same level as the person we are talking to , and when we do, should we
eventually get into a discussion about God, talk about God, or just leave it at
the level of loving that person.</P>
<P>JarEl: That’s all. Just to spread love. When that person asks about God, is
when <I>you</I> have created an opportunity to connect with that person’s
spirit. At that point the opportunity to share spirit to spirit will present
itself. The only way to win over anyone is with love. Words are irrelevant, and
not as important. The words of love, and the words used with love will find a
way to bridge spirit to spirit. To connect over all of the obstacles, beliefs,
needs wants, no matter what these obstacles may be. IT is initially important to
practice these. When you are truly practicing love, then you begin to connect to
people who will be inquisitive about how you got to where you are. Even then, if
you strongly feel a need to say something ‘spiritual’ to someone, all that is
necessary to say is that you are all children of God and as children of God you
are one family with God as the Father and Mother, and as a family you are all
brothers and sisters. The way you connect to each other is through love and
small acts of kindness. It is not important to proselytize the Urantia Book or
the teaching mission, or any belief system, proselytize love. When it is
important to discuss sources of love and inspiration, you will know then.</P>
<P>Student: There have been occasions lately when I have meet homeless people. I
ask then what is going on in their lives. I ask them, in a loving way how they
got to where they are. I ask them if they Pray to God. Sometimes some say they
pray. Sometimes they respond, but don’t seem very enthused.</P>
<P>Student: You are practicing being Godlike. We should all practice being God
like even though we don’t feel it. We should all practice enough until we get
the feeling for it, godlike is what we get from our lessons, love, courage,
wisdom, peace, mercy, forgiveness. All those beautiful words we hear just
practicing being like God. God is within us, and we can express it, but we have
to practice it first.</P>
<P>Student: It makes me feel good to reach out to people in disparity. It seems
to uplift them I am wondering if it is appropriate to talk to God in those
instances when you are talking to someone who are at the bottom.</P>
<P>JarEl: Your own inner guidance can direct you in these matters. IT is not for
me to say what is appropriate on e way or the other. The least effort you are
asked to make is to show love and kindness in whatever form this may take.</P>
<P>Student: reminds me of a theme in touched by an angel when they say that God
loves you and they say, yea, but looks what he’s done to me and why can’t he
help me out of this. Which is their initial response, and if they keep after it
they will eventually begin to see.</P>
<P>Student: The most profound statement I have heard in the Urantia Book so far
is Love destroys Hate. Sometimes you wonder is this works, but it does. </P>
<P>JarEl: Sometimes it is very difficult to explain to people that the way in
which God helps them is to provide opportunities for them to help themselves.
Misappropriated opportunities is a problem for the human not for God. It is very
difficult to explain this to one who has not taken advantage of opportunities in
a way which they would have been productive for that individual. At times it is
the individual who detains themselves and encumber situations in which they fell
backed against a corner and they feel God is supposed to bail them out. In all
actuality God will, is they so believe it, though not maybe in the way they
expect to be bailed out. It is a challenging situation with which you are
presented in your life on this world, congratulations.</P>
<P>Students: thanks a Lot.</P>
<P>Student: I have a little curiosity about saying is this all there is. Do you
ever get bored in life? Does boredom happen on the other side as well as
here?</P>
<P>JarEl: Boredom is a matter of perspective my friend, and is this all there
is, is never ending. Put yourself in Gods’ place in side any mortal on Urantia
and you tell me what boredom is. (Laughter)</P>
<P>I do not mean this as a joke, but as serious introspection to your own
dilemma or question which may concern you. It is a matter of perspective. God
finds it immensely challenging to be here on this world within you mortals at
this moment.</P>
<P>Student: and loving it all the way, eh!</P>
<P>JarEl: very much so. It is exciting! You do not fully comprehend yet the
tremendous opportunity that awaits this call to spread the love of the Father.
It is anything but boring.</P>
<P>What is boring is the hundreds of thousands of people in your country who go
out every day and try to get satisfaction by spending money and buying things,
only to come home and realize they are still not satisfied. To meet a person who
they love and have a wonderful time with and realize they are still not
satisfied. There is no satisfaction and no excitement really short of knowing
God. To begin to attempt to know God is to begin to see the world with new eyes,
with a new mind, a new thought pattern, a new vision. For as you begin to know
God you will begin to see things in ordinary life which you have never saw that
way before. The veil will be lifted and you will begin to see the real spirit in
all living systems, in all beings and personalities. Boredom comes from clouded
vision, worn thought, pattered behavior.</P>
<P>Student: I like the statement we have on our refrigerator door, swindler,
that life is that life is ninety percent of our attitude we have towards it, and
ten percent is what happens to us. It is how we approach life and problems,
ninety percent our attitude. We see that so often people who look at the same
situations we do and they look it in a very negative way when you can look it in
a very positive way.</P>
<P>JarEl: It is the attempt of us teachers to inspire this God vision. This new
attitude, so that Urantia will become a worthy, fruitful and exciting place to
live again. It is getting better.</P>
<P>Student: We need to see the mighty loveliness of God. Will we still find
conflict very exciting.</P>
<P>JarEl: You will eventually find conflict that not exciting, yet tremendously
enduring. The more spiritual you become, the more you will begin to resolve
conflict and see its immaturity in imperfection of the universes. It is only
when you pass through the portal of time and space and land on the eternal
worlds of Paradise and Havona, when you will truly begin to experience reality
devoid of conflict, reality consisting only of eternal peace, prosperity and
happiness. It is in this dimension that you will begin to comprehend God as the
source of eternal peace, eternal prosperity and eternal; happiness. Thank you my
