Good evening, it is I, your teacher JarEl. It is good to be back again
and I welcome those who are here for the first time. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">You are all certainly getting used
to this notion of survival after death.<span style="">
</span>For many of you it has become a normal thing to think about after you
die. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>But there are many things to look forward to
while you are still alive, many new discoveries that you can make while you are
still here on earth.<span style=""> </span>It is simply a
matter of practice on your part to undertake the challenge of unlocking these
secrets.<span style=""> </span>One of them is your communion
with God.<span style=""> </span>It is the silencing of your
mind and becoming attuned with your Thought Adjuster and that is a very sacred
secret that many of you should uncover.<span style="">
</span>And many other secrets that you can also unlock exist all around you
with your fellow human beings, with the way you communicate with them – not
just through words but through mind.<span style=""> </span>You
have the potential to communicate with each other with no words, but you are so
used to verbal communication that you have forgotten the simple sense of
intuition, the simple sense of knowing, of understanding, just with a look or
with a feeling. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">These secrets are locked because
you have locked them yourself.<span style=""> </span>In your
lives they have told you that these things are impossible – that these things
do not exist.<span style=""> </span>And in your attempt to
become normal, you accepted the norm of society, and in doing so you have
forgotten many of the things that you used to be able to do. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">But the good news is that you can
regain all of this once more.<span style=""> </span>It is not
hidden from you.<span style=""> </span>It is no secret.<span style=""> </span>It is plainly available to you if you were
brilliant enough to look and to seek out.<span style="">
</span>The problem that exists in attempting to search for sensibility, is that
there hardly is a support structure to help you encourage yourself and to show
you the way.<span style=""> </span>This lacking of support
structure makes it nearly impossible for you to find the tools by which you can
accomplish this ability.<span style=""> </span>But
nonetheless, it is there for you to find.<span style="">
</span>And if enough of you were to find a way to allow, not just this, but
many other abilities that are potential in you, then you can begin to create a
community of like-minded individuals that would represent a generation of the
future. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">I tell you all this simply because
it is within your grasp to do this.<span style=""> </span>It
is not beyond you.<span style=""> </span>And I can understand
that you would not like to spend the rest of your lives searching for this, for
it is difficult to achieve when you do not have the right tools.<span style=""> </span>There are certainly other things that you can
occupy yourself with, but nonetheless, these abilities exist.<span style=""> </span>And when you are all ready, there will be
much help to expedite the process by which you attain such abilities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">This is all part of a Correcting
Time for humans have forgotten much of what they could do in the past.<span style=""> </span>You have relied too much on your technology
and on what you see.<span style=""> </span>You no longer rely
as much on the things unseen and the things that you feel.<span style=""> </span>You have thrown yourself off to the world and
created walls around you for that is what the world tells you to do.<span style=""> </span>But by doing so, you have sealed off any
opportunity for you to find these sorts of communication that will not only
bring you closer to God, but closer to your fellow humans.<span style=""> </span>It is not beyond you to find perfect
relationships on this planet.<span style=""> </span>And utilizing
all your sensibilities for these relationships should be one of your utmost
duties.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Rey:<span style=""> </span>JarEl I have a question if I may.<span style=""> </span>In the book, in the marriage papers, Urantia
mortals are described as, by fact, being bisexual.<span style=""> </span>In conversation with some other readers, some
contend that what is trying to be portrayed is the fact that we are a planet of
two sexes, others contend that the word bisexual doesn’t mean what it does
today.<span style=""> </span>I am asking this because last
week we touched on the subject of taking care of our youth who may be confused
for whatever reason.<span style=""> </span>Could you shed some
light on, I guess, how the celestials, how they, I mean, are we in fact a
bisexual race?<span style=""> </span>I mean, to the degree
that, you know, I guess, it suits a person, but could you shed some light on
that for us, for me?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">JarEl:<span style=""> </span>TR, George:<span style="">
</span>I will first tell you what the book refers to.<span style=""> </span>When it was written the terminology referred
to there being two types of sexes on your planet.<span style=""> </span>But now the terminology has changed, it has a
new meaning for the people of Urantia.<span style="">
</span>And this subject still remains very much controversial and it is
something that you, as a people, must come to terms with. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>But I will tell you this – that God loves all
of you no matter what.<span style=""> </span>And for anything
that you do on this planet, He is most forgiving and understanding.<span style=""> </span>And the same goes for the rest of the
universe, for we take God’s lead.<span style=""> </span>So we
are not judgmental and we do not condemn.<span style="">
</span>Nor do we see or feel that your planet should be a certain way.<span style=""> </span>We leave that up to you to decide.<span style=""> </span>They can only be examples of how to love one
another.<span style=""> </span>It is up to the people of Urantia
to follow these examples and be compassionate towards one another.<span style=""> </span>Remember what the Master said – what you do
to the least of them you do to me.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>

receiving lessons about covenants.<span style=""> </span>And
in that realm, if you could elaborate on covenants or agreements between
mortals and Adjusters and how those lead to – well, what you were talking
about, discoveries, closeness to Father and community type things?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">JarEl:<span style=""> </span>TR, George:<span style="">
</span>Well, a covenant is usually an agreement on your part to follow a
certain way, and usually it is a righteous way.<span style="">
</span>It is a promise that you give to God or to your Thought Adjuster,
however you want to see it.<span style=""> </span>And this
promise is something that you yourself try<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>to keep.<span style="">
</span>And only you can decide whether or not you can keep this covenant.<span style=""> </span>But God does honor any promise that you make
and He is most understanding if you fail in keeping such promises and He is
always willing to give you a second chance. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>But the fact that you create a promise shows
God that you are at least willing to try.<span style="">
</span>And when you create these covenants many opportunities for you to grow
come your way.<span style=""> </span>So, you should be
prepared for these challenges, that is part of the agreement in creating this
promise.<span style=""> </span>You should not enter into an
agreement until you see the fine print.<span style="">
</span>And this fine print includes challenges that will strain you sometimes,
but not break you.<span style=""> </span>God never gives you
more than you can handle.<span style=""> </span>He gives you
just enough for you to rise up to that occasion and to show your valor and
courage. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>The promise that you make is more a promise to
yourself even as it’s directed to God, it is still for yourself, for your
self-improvement.<span style=""> </span>God is forever patient
and it really wouldn’t matter that much to Him<span style="">
</span><span style=""> </span>if you made the promise now or 50
years from now.<span style=""> </span>All that matters is that
you made it and that you are willing to try.<span style="">
</span>Of course, the sooner you go into this sort of agreement, the better it
is for you and your entire life for you would have surpassed certain challenges
and it is very intelligent of you to take on such challenges and promises at
your age.<span style=""> </span>For many leave these things
until the very end when it is already too difficult to change.<span style=""> </span>So, like I said, God honors all promises
made. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Are there any other questions?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Stella:<span style=""> </span>Well, I’ll ask the question.<span style=""> </span>You say that God never gives you more than
you can handle.<span style=""> </span>Well what about all
these people who are tortured, the children who are hurt and abused and killed
or tortured?<span style=""> </span>The children have nothing
to say about it, they could not help themselves.<span style=""> </span>So how does that fit that God didn’t?<span style=""> </span>If God gives you freewill also and these
children are tortured – I don’t see the connection that God doesn’t give you
more than you can bear.<span style=""> </span>That’s not
true.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">JarEl:<span style=""> </span>TR, George:<span style="">
</span>What you must remember is that in order for God to give you freewill,
everyone else must have their freewill as well.<span style="">
</span>And these tortures are not designed by God.<span style=""> </span>They are designed by men, men with evil
hearts.<span style=""> </span>And God does not interfere in
these freewill choices that evil men do.<span style="">
</span>It is very sad to see this, but one must not blame God for all the evil
in the world.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Stella:<span style=""> </span>But what happens to these evil ones after
they die?<span style=""> </span>If they just say they are
sorry is that enough, are they then forgiven?<span style="">

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">JarEl:<span style=""> </span>TR, George:<span style="">
</span>They must go through a complete transformational change in order to
continue.<span style=""> </span>It is not an easy path for
them.<span style=""> </span>Nor is it easy for any of
you.<span style=""> </span>The victims of these tortures have
it just as hard too, but they are more able to overcome much of what had
happened to them.<span style=""> </span>They are more willing
to forgive once they have crossed over.<span style="">
</span>All of those emotional pains that they have carried with them for all
their lives get washed away.<span style=""> </span>And it is
most touching to see these victims forgive their torturers for they do come to
terms with this and they do ultimately forgive those who tortured them. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>But it is very say to see these people who had
tortured.<span style=""> </span>It is sad to see them never
able to forgive themselves for the wrongs they’ve done, for they do carry with
them this horror and it plagues them for a very long time.<span style=""> </span>So when they hurt someone, they are hurting
themselves, they are chipping away at their soul until there is nothing
left.<span style=""> </span>And it is very difficult for them
to forgive themselves and many times they wish that they were the ones that
were tortured instead.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">There is justice in the universe
my dear Stella.<span style=""> </span>It is simply a matter of
fact that you have not experienced eternal justice that makes it almost
impossible for you to understand it.<span style="">
</span>Once you have witnessed this yourself, you will begin to see how the
universe works in a well ordered manner.<span style="">
</span>And all the things that happen here on Urantia will be like a distant
dream of a savage world.<span style=""> </span>The universe is
not so savage.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>

be true to say from our perspective that as we view that torture and as that
person cannot take it at a certain point that the Father stops that torture
from happening?<span style=""> </span>And that we do not see
that because of our finiteness and our perspective from that and also that if
we are in close proximity to such a thing it is perhaps our duty to somehow
intervene with that.<span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span>You are correct on both points and I will address the last one first: <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">That God forever seeks to use you
in His stead to accomplish His will, but you must be willing to act and to be
selfless, to be a hand of God that He may work through you in this world.<span style=""> </span>And in the same vein He uses others to
accomplish His will and to ease the suffering of those that are being suffered
upon.<span style=""> </span>And although He cannot interfere
in the will of man, He can nudge men, good men, to come to the rescue of such
victims.<span style=""> </span>But never does He directly
interfere, but He may see it so there are opportunities to discover these
victims before more harm is brought on them. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;"><span style=""> </span>The sad thing is that many do not follow these
nudges and there are many victims who remain unrescued and it is very sad.<span style=""> </span>But that is the way your world is right now
and the best that any of you can do is to be examples of what good people are
like and also to follow the nudges of God so that He may work through you in
times like these.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
