your planetary manager. It is a pleasure for myself and my Melchizedek team and
many others to be here to observe you, to listen to you, to understand your
life, your situation, and how you are planning to fit into this new world that
we are striving to create for you and future generations. Today I wish to speak
about something that you have not asked about. Although you've asked many
hundreds if not thousands of questions over the last 20 years, there seems to
be at least one that hasn't been asked yet, which doesn’t puzzle us, but it is
kind of curious for us. And that is that you have not clarified (or at least
discerned verbally aloud) that you see a difference between these sessions that
we have here with PMG over the years and the other T/R’s and the other groups
that meet. This has to do with teachers being teachers, and teachers teach what
they know and what they have experienced and share that wisdom with their
students. This is a Planetary Manager’s Group. I am the dominant planetary
manager speaker, and therefore we talk about planetary management things. It is
not that this group is in any way more advanced than other groups, it is simply
that we have a convenient venue for our use to explain planetary management
issues <i>with </i>you. </span></p>

is important that you discern this distinction. Many of you have wondered over
the years why is it that this group in Colorado has a much different genre of
topics than other groups. It is simply that this group has a mission to
accomplish, and that is to work with us to understand the concepts of planetary
management as it integrates with the Correcting Time program. It is convenient
for us to use one T/R for this as multiple T/Rs bring in multiple perspectives
that are due to the T/R’s own internal opinions, biases, and so on. By using
one T/R to discuss planetary management issues, we can provide a consistency
and the bias is consistent. We know there's a bias with This One as you do, and
so we take that into account, and we hope you do too—that you can discern the
message that we speak from our team to you through This One. We hope there is
not too much fog from this one's personality that overshadows and infiltrates
the message that we share. We have had a concern from other individuals around
the world who wonder about this same phenomenon. That is the explanation we
provide, and that is the simplest and most direct explanation we <i>can</i>
provide <i>to</i> you. You can anticipate then that there will be more issues
that come up to be discussed regarding the Correcting Time and our work now. </span></p>

you've been following this trend of topic for the last 5-8 years, seven years,
you will see that there has been a consistency of the topic development around
social sustainability, planetary management, and the need for corrective
programs, and that is what the Correcting Time is all about. You are also aware
that we have had almost no widespread public acceptance of the Teaching Mission,
Magisterial Mission, and <i>The Urantia Book</i> program. This is as it is, and
it is as it will be perhaps for a while. However, we do anticipate that there
will be a rather sudden awakening that will occur for those people who are so
aloof from their spiritual centeredness. We have not been dismissive of those
people who are spiritual but who do not frequent spiritual materials or
intellectual aspects of spirituality. We accept that they are there, and know
that they provide us with a resource—a reservoir of fence-sitters—who may come
across to our side and who may contribute to our work. It is important that you
(the readers and listeners today) maintain your own consistency of your
perspectives. Whether you are aloof, whether you're engaged, or whether you are
totally red hot with interest is something that does concern us. It is not that
we want to have over-avid people engaged in our work, but that there be a
continuing flow of interest and well-meaning participation and thoughtful
cognitive processing of the concepts and topics that we speak about. </span></p>

to become more open and receptive to alternative ways of living, life, and
quality of life. Quality of life is central to everyone; however the focus of
their quality of life differs greatly from those individuals who are very
wealthy to those who are very poor. Quality of life can be equal for both, and both
can have satisfying lifestyles and standards of living. Your standard depends greatly
upon your attitude. If you have a wonderful, grateful attitude that God
provides all to you, then you see that you have very little, but you are joyful
in what you have, then you are right on the mark for being a recipient of much
good in your life. Your happiness is your issue; your happiness is your
problem. Your satisfaction with the quality of your life is one that <i>we</i>
participate in. We strive to assist you to grow into who you will become in the
morontial realm, that you were open and receptive to becoming a partner with us
during your mortal sojourn. </span></p>

referred a few times to January sixth as a meaningful date. I was wondering if
you could explain the significance of January 6 to you and your associates, and
what it could mean to our immediate future. Thank you. </span></p>

question. The significance of January sixth is not necessarily upon democracy
in the United States, but democracy in general. It is a highly inflammatory
date, and what occurred on that date is inflammatory to many people, both in
the conservative camp and in the liberal camp. However, for us, yes, we were
quite startled with that date, and what occurred on that date in Washington
D.C. at the capitol. It is significant to us because democracy, whether you
like it or not, is one of the most developed and advanced forms of governance
that is possible for humankind. It has great potential, but those potentials
have not been developed yet. The great dissatisfaction that you have seen
through this insurrection that occurred in the rioting is evidence of much
disgruntlement about the current state of democracy in the United States, and
that discontent is also shared in other nations. But because of America’s
cultural history of revolution and immigration from around the world to this democratic
nation, that history has spilled over to the current time. Riot, revolt, and
even revolution is not typical in all societies, but it is typical of
democracies that are staid, traditional, and crystallized and becoming more and
more obsolete. We have provided you with the thought and the concepts of a Stage
Three Democracy that would be helpful to you to understand what is coming and
why Stage Two, which is the stage of this democratic nation at this time, needs
to evolve and transition to a Stage Three Democracy. </span></p>

see this all involves human motivation. Human motivation is towards freedom, is
towards the self-determination of one's life and you have to have freedom as an
individual to do that. In a society you must have liberty—meaning that you have
freedom that is under restraint by the codes of ethics and morality so that
individual acts of freedom do not injure other people or decrease the
effectiveness of their society. This is one of the truisms of human nature that
every human who is of the old culture (meaning all of you) is wired to revolt
against restraint—whether that is handcuffs, whether that is a jail, whether
that is social obligations that are non-physical—you chafe against that. Human
motivation wants you to be free. Therefore, when we see events such as those
that occurred on January 6th, this is clear evidence [that] something is amiss
and has gone awry in this traditional democratic nation. The significance is
that we—spirit—figuratively must get off our butts and provide the programs and
more rapid initiation of those programs that will change this situation
promptly and surely to ensure that social evolution does occur. We are not
remiss, however, in preparation for this as there have been many contingency
plans, and we are now involved in a more developed contingency plan than we had
two years ago or more. Thank you</span></p>

thank you for your clarifications this morning. I think us old timers haven't
asked about the differing functions between groups because we (more or less)
understand them, and I see a great synergy between all the various groups and
teachings. I am kind of wondering, you know, I've been just watching in
amazement as events unfold here on this planet, but I have been really
disappointed in the tyrannies that seems to be being foisted on us right now
against all kinds of reason and common sense, that economies have been shut
down and people locked in their homes. And you can sort of see what seems to me
to be the inevitability of famine owing to all the economic shutdowns and supply
disruptions. Do you have any comment on that? </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:105%;margin:0in;font-size:12pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">MM:</span></b><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"> Yes, surely, we do, and thank you for
your observation of the synergy between this group and other groups. The
tyranny as you call it is, in reality, the increasing dysfunction of the social-societal,
the political-governmental and the economic-financial sectors of a society. It
is particularly fluid in democratic nations where people have more latitude of
actions individually. In other nations that are not democratic in nature, those
are all controlled by the apparatus of the government—the dictatorship, the
monarchies, the autocratic governance processes—and they are striving to also
remain in balance. However, to broaden your view about autocratic and similar
nations (totalitarian nations) they are coming to a crossroad where the burdens
of a total dictatorial management of society is beginning to fall apart. There
are too many parts and moving pieces to control and manage as they wish. You
will see evidence in the economy of large nations, particularly that of North
Korea and China. You see that in the recent upcoming default by a large
construction company is to the tune of $300 billion dollars. A default on $300
billion dollars will affect the world, and it will particularly reflect upon
the credibility of that communist nation. There are other situations that are
going to be more and more exaggerated. The tyranny that you speak of is, as I
have said, almost environmental now in that it is part of the landscape of “modern”
life. You see, while all nations are under this great illusion of being in
control they are actually not, and the dictatorial, totalitarian countries have
the fear of total collapse within their nations both in all three of those
architectural structures of society. However, within a democratic society,
there is the <i>inherent</i> capability to <i>adapt,</i> and this capability of
adaptation is central to the survival of your species. </span></p>

within a nation begin to slow down and cease to exist. This is something that
the democratic nations (this one, America, in particular) has not taken into
full account. Perhaps your military leaders have as they plan for contingencies
just as we have. It is important that people be open minded and part of the
grizzly aspect of this time in a nation that is bordering on collapse is that
people become more and more receptive to options of thinking, options of
actions, and options for their future. As there is very little proactive
planning for the care of a democratic nation that borders on collapse, we have
the options to bring forward to assist those nations. </span></p>

increasing the substrata of the ice that interfaces with the rock below to warm
it. This is occurring in many places as well. This is a natural occurrence that
humans have not caused or intervened in. It is simply one of the natural
patterns that develop over time in a planet such as Earth. This planet has a
magnetic and liquid core that provides weather conditions on the surface and in
the atmosphere through the electromagnetic waves that are part of the magnetism
of this planet. This has an influence upon the radiation of your sun, this
local star, and it too is changing. You—meaning all people interested in climatological
phenomena—should not dismiss the natural causes of these tremendous changes and
blame it all on humans. Your scientists have examined ice cores and so on deep
within Antarctica and within the Greenland ice cap, such that they know that
throughout the history of this planet and the history of the glaciation and ice
ages that there have been tremendous warming periods as well as tremendous cold
periods. These are all natural, and many of these occurred in the earliest eras
of human species development. </span></p>

These tremendous changes have begun, and they will continue to ramp up to become
even greater than before. These will be terribly destructive and harmful to plant
and animal and human existence. You have not yet seen hurricanes in the arctic
and south pole regions, have you? It is possible to have wind speeds of 150 mph
at 50° below zero temperatures. This would be devastating to the whole planet,
yet this does occur on other planets, and it may occur on this planet. You as a
species should be preparing yourselves for finding your caves (literally and
figuratively) where you can reside in safety. Do you have further questions

themselves from existence simply because of that quality. It is detrimental to
your species when that hard headedness exceeds a certain limit of rationality.
It is unintelligent. It is not logical; it is irrational to say the least. It
is suicidal. That being said, to some degree the hard headedness is very much a
desirable trait in a species—particularly on an experimental and experiential
planet as Urantia. </span></p>

and guardians to work with you. It is basically what goes on in the substrata
of a human mind is that the influences of the various races do play a part in
how the mind behaves. For a Thought Adjuster and for a guardian to tune into
the mind of a mortal, it would seem like the mortal was speaking on one
frequency on the radio, changing to the ultra-microwave, and then switching
back to 16 hertz speaking in a low bass voice. The flipping between channels
and flipping between frequencies makes it very difficult for your spiritual
assistants to achieve communion with you. Therefore, we have been giving you
and admonishing you to be self-observing, to monitor your thinking, and to
dissuade you from thinking <i>negative</i> thoughts, but to persuade you to
think positive thoughts. As a thought pattern begins, it can deteriorate to
even more and more negativity and harsh and even violent scenarios in the mind
of an individual. However, in minds that have been tuned—have been trained—by
the mortal with the assistance of the Thought Adjuster and guardian, there
becomes a persistent open channel with which they can communicate with you. </span></p>

is Machiventa. Let me address the plethora of issues that you've brought
forward by saying this: It is the strong-hearted, loving, stubborn individual
who is of great assistance to us. For us, meaning the Thought Adjuster,
guardian, and those individuals who have influence in the individual person,
are always working to develop strong individuals who are unwilling to bend. They
are unwilling to bend to darkness; they remain persevering to the ultimate
point of existence—that they will not bend or be swayed by other influences.
You see, the same traits that are destructive to human civilization are
tremendously an advantage to the <i>individual </i>when they consciously choose
and can form an intention for their continued existence beyond the mortal realm
into the morontial and into the spiritual and so on. Individuals who are of
this stubborn, persevering nature regardless of the circumstances around them
are the most powerful to make changes in themselves and with others. To stand
in the middle of a group as one among perhaps a 1,000 and know that you are an
individual and you have confidence in your position even when those around you
who are voting otherwise or shouting otherwise, you know that you have a way
forward that works for everyone, not just a special group. The difficulty of
working with mortals, Homo sapiens, on Urantia is one of the aspects of training
that all celestial teachers of Melchizedeks and angels are given to help gird
them and strengthen them to encourage their mortal charges during times of
great travail for the individual and social difficulties. </span></p>

that you have within you what was given to you by your creator to stand you in
good stead for all the trials of life and living and to make right decisions
that will carry you into the afterlife. These are innate to yourself—these
urges of doing right, to be compassionate and empathic towards other people and
to even love humanity generally is spectacular. It is remarkable that a person
can do this. On the other hand, there are individuals who know nothing about
empathy, compassion, or love. And so, we have deliberately addressed our
teaching manner for the Teaching Mission, Magisterial Mission, and Correcting Time
to the level of giving those who are willing to will in agreement with their Thought
Adjuster to work with us. We will be calling upon those people to assist us. Truly,
we do have hope for you. We do hope that you have hope in yourself as well.

mortal existence. [If] we're going to up step those to the 21st century instead
of your era, but you have an insight. I would like to present the idea (or
enlarge the idea) that we the mortals participating in the transformation of
the planet have something to offer in return for the attendance that our
spiritual guides and administrators have toward us. We have something to offer
as still evolving mortals still searching, organizing as individual cultures,
ethnicities, and as races as a slowly agglutinizing, yeasty mass of planetary
culture. We have something to offer to you, your spiritual board of governors
that you…. I don't know if you can appreciate it or not. I don't even think <i>we</i>
can appreciate it. I think that's what we're here as mortals every day to help
refine, to contribute to our planetary advancement. And I would like you to
take into consideration the fact that Urantian mortals as the product—the 21st
century product of the results of Christ Michael's bestowal—are in a state of
mind that has much to educate (or to amuse anyway) our super mortal compadres. </span></p>

greater being. It is not that we are complete. Just, as you know, that God the Creator
was perfect, God nonetheless was lacking in experience of living and <i>becoming</i>
perfect. And so, we as individuals, whether Melchizedeks, angels of any order,
or midwayers also, of course, are here as a journey of growth. And we are
greatly appreciative of that. We will have time in the duration of <i>our</i>
long existence to give this much thought as we progress from one assignment to
another. It is important that mortals also see this same possibility for
themselves—when they see each new day as an opportunity for growth, as a
challenge to their old beliefs, and in the development of beliefs that assist
them in their spiritual, emotional, and social growth. When that occurs, then
you grow. For us, there is the eventual and hopeful conclusion that we <i>too</i>
are in Paradise, are in Havona—that we have achieved the growth that has given
us the privilege of progressing towards the center of all that exists. Your
insight borders on the profound, dear one, and we appreciate that. You have
discerned correctly that we too have a mission of existence, and through our
service to <i>you</i> we grow. And [in] your service to others, <i>you</i> grow.

the Creator, and that we are making every effort to assist you to move from
hope to trusting and to knowing. Your experience of life is that process of
gaining the knowledge—the knowing—that you have <i>achieved</i> that status.
The experience of living is your process of moving from hope, to trust, to
knowing. When you anticipate this every day, and you expect that you will grow,
you will. You have great insight into your life now, and you have great insight
into the progress of your species. You have, on the other hand, the challenge
of assisting others to grow along with you. </span></p>

your life as a mortal into the life as a morontial being. You do that by making
choices. How<i> societies </i>do this is another matter. Societies also go
through this process of making decisions. What has not occurred on Urantia is
that your mortal societies, whether by a society or conglomerate of individuals
or design team or an individual who leads many others, have not taken on the
chore of questioning your existence <i>as </i>societies and as organizations. You
know as well as we do that there have been no societies, no nation, no
cultures, no ethnic group, races of people, dynasties, and empires and so on,
and so on, and so on that have <i>transcended </i>their existence. None are
here today that came into existence over the last 20,000—30,000 years. You as Americans,
you as people of democracies will also go the same route until you as a society
make a decision to transcend your history of failure. That is the challenge you
have to lead yourself into your future. No one has done that. It is time that that
occur. These are thoughts for you to think about until next time. We wish you
