ABRAHAM - YOUR MINISTRY IN THE CORRECTING TIME

JUNE 30, 2003

WOODS CROSS GROUP

 

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. As I walk among you I am made to feel at home. I look into each one of your faces and I am overcome with awe at the creativity of our Father. No matter what has occurred in your lives, you each continue to uphold our purpose. Your enduring faith in our Creators has given you extra responsibilities and opportunities, and I must say you have each done well.

 

The Correcting Time is expanding more everyday and the spiritual energy is creating a great mind shift. You, our Mission participants, are well trained in directing those who are feeling this shift, this energy. As we each become comfortable at our place at Michael's table, we find that all are equal in the Kingdom, not one is above another in any capacity. There, before us at the table, is an enormous banquet. We each must try a little bit of everything.

 

In your life experience you will eventually understand many things, for you will have the experience firsthand. To know comfort, you must know pain. To know freedom, you must know imprisonment. To know love, you must know hate. In this Correcting Time there will be individuals who could use your insight into understanding this morontia mota. A soft spoken word will speak to the souls of those you attempt to reach.

 

To fully believe that each of Father's children are equal will keep you balanced in your ministry. You will be able to maintain a humility that connects you directly with divine information. The Master's ministry was most effective because He sought no place above His fellows. He directed them inward to their own divine source. He displayed faith in His fellows' ability to reach for Father on their own. Everyday you may see your loved ones experiencing trauma or pain, and all you can do for them is show them your love, support and guide them inward to their own divine intelligence.

 

You each know that experience is required, and no matter how painful it is to see your fellows experiencing trauma, it is required of each mortal. Your ministry in this Correcting Time is to assist in sharing meanings and values. Good things are indeed happening. I realize living in the world, it would seem that pain is all around. You each must believe that the Correcting Time is having rippling affects and good is indeed resulting.

 

This week think about your particular responsibilities in the Correcting Time. Can you minister as the Master did with a humble heart and giving individuals that feeling that they are coworkers, not followers or leaders? Continue to practice your spiritual exercises to maintain strength to serve in our Brother/Father's Mission purpose. Find time this week to have quiet time and receive my words. Are there questions this evening?

 

HARRISON: Abraham, would you perhaps have some words of encouragement for my friend/brother Jonas, who is in the state prison at this time? He is coming up for parole.

 

ABRAHAM: Certainly. My son, I am in understanding of the heartache you have experienced. Do not ever think you have done so much that Father would not right now lift you up and hold you as if you were His only son. His ear is always open. His heart is always full with love. His guidance is unfailing and you have opportunity to have this for your own. With your experience you can make a difference in the lives of those you meet. You can bring about good from the negative experiences of life. With your efforts toward doing good your time spent in prison will be of great value. Have not worry. You have a bright future--do not miss out on it. That is all. Another question?

 

SIMON: Yes Abraham. I would like to welcome Camarah here for her first time and it looks like the Teaching Mission Conference is coming up. Do you have some thoughts on that event? I sure have been grateful for all the spiritual, mental and growth lately and trusting in Father. Do you have any words for me? I would appreciate it.

 

ABRAHAM: Certainly Simon. Concerning the upcoming Conference, these conferences appear to be an ocean of everything. You that are attending can help to bring about a practical balance to living the spiritual life. Our entire Mission is based on the teachings of the Urantia Book. There is tendency at these conferences to stray away from the intellectuality of the Urantia Book to the mysticism of other beliefs. Remember our Mission is spiritual, but it is also balanced with intelligence. Remember to use humor and light heartedness to maintain a positive energy flow. The Mission is not 'anything goes.' Right now the Correcting Time is at a crucial point where the weeds will be gathered up and thrown by the wayside, while the new growth is allowed room to spread. Know that Father is our sovereign and in charge of all things, and without a doubt I can say that all will go well. Is this helping? (Yes Abraham. I appreciate it.) Another question?

 

MIRIAM: Abraham, if you don't mind and it is appropriate, Don was wondering if you could give some status on his mother, Lilly and some guidance as to how we should proceed with Jean?

 

ABRAHAM: Certainly. Lilly is indeed safe and well taken care of. She has the understanding now that she did not before. Have not worry over her status, for she is continuing on in a much improved capacity. Concerning Jean, it appears you have both done all you can. Just simply keep doing it. Many times individuals are blinded by pain, mentally or physically, and are unable to really see the truth. Know that she is assisted and loved, even if she does not know it herself. I cannot be of much help in a material sense. I can only express to you both that your efforts made for the family are indeed touching. Is there something else? (No Abraham. Thank you so much. I just love you to pieces.) Thank you. Another question?

 

SIMON: How about some words for the Rainbow gathering youth group that is coming with all the Urantia love and light?

 

ABRAHAM: Certainly. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and spiritual refreshment. True spirituality is not a life of ease or any kind of escape. You are each meant to live as a normal mortal of the realm. Work, play, family and responsibilities are all a part of normal mortal living. Take the peace you receive from this gathering and use it in your everyday living. Peace is sometimes hard work. Allowing Father to go before you is many times difficult. Remember to maintain balance and practicality in your everyday living. Your best message to the world speaks through your everyday actions. Know that you will be surrounded with vast hosts of the divine order. With that I will take my leave..

 

MIRIAM: Just one question before you leave. Are you guys excited about the Israeli thing? Are you guys jazzed about that they are kinda talking to each other?

 

ABRAHAM: Always we have hope, and yet the results remain to be seen. This is a most difficult area in our efforts. When we can find leaders who will relinquish their desire to have great power, then will there be wonderful results. Good question Miriam.
