ANNOUNCEMENT

Mark your calendars! The Southwest TeaM Retreat and Family Reunion will take place February 23-25, 2006, at the Canossian Spirituality Center, in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. As Pastor Daniel stated in his 10th year anniversary service of the Church Within:

"Renewal allows one to . Reactivate, Readjust, Realign, Reaffirm, Rearrange, Reassign, Reassure, Reawaken, Recapture, Recharge, Reconnect, Recuperate, Rededicate, Redefine, Rediscover, Refine, Reform, Regenerate, Reinforce, Reinterpret, Rejuvenate, Rekindle, Relearn, Remake, Remotivate, Reorganize, Restore, Revitalize, and Revive their Attitude, Beliefs, Dedication, Determination, Hope, Faith, Relationship, Friendship, Love. Everything in fact, that has Real Lasting Value in Life."

We also welcome you to join your Family at this Retreat and share your Re-Re-Re-Respect for the God Within each of us that allows these wonders to perform. As all of us benefit from the divine embrace of our siblings, we roll out the red carpet and offer the olive branch to those we have overlooked or offended in the course of this past year and open wide our arms and hearts to embrace those friends we have not yet met. Welcome! one and all.

Naturally we will aspire to meet a day or two early, to plunge into the spiritual waters (anybody for a trek to Thousand Waves in Santa Fe for a hot soak and massage?); and stay a day or two later, to get a better airline rate (and visit Old Town or take the tram to the Top of the Crest?) If you factor your budget at $75 per day per person (which includes registration, room and board), you will be able to calculate the basic cost and extent of your stay.

All the rooms are spacious, gracious and accommodating, with windows that open to the grounds, but not all of them are quipped with a full bath, so if you want one of those, register early to nail one down. Canossian can accommodate 36 people.

Again this year, bear in mind the Hotel Blue in downtown Albuquerque provides an affordable alternative, and we encourage it for those who want to squeeze in a little night life or those who decide to attend after all the rooms at the Center are filled.

The Canossian Spirituality Center is an ideal place to retreat, in the slow and tranquil ambiance of the South Valley, where "mañana is good enough for me!" Well off the beaten path, it is not far from the ABQ International Airport and off I-25. Maps for attendees will be forthcoming.

Elevation in the Valley is approximately 5,000 feet above sea level. There are no stairs to factor; a wheelchair is available, if and as desired. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. Shuttle from the airport to the Center will be made available. Details will follow as they are formulated and confirmed. Meanwhile, if you have questions, requests or special needs, email contact Gerdean at Cableone.net.
