Questions:  Is the world getting better or isn’t it?
                    How can I best assist Pato in his outreach?
                    Do you have any further advice for Stella for her healing?

JarEl: TR, George:  Good evening.  It is I, your Teacher JarEl.

Lucille:  Welcome.

JarEl:  TR, George:  It is good to be back 
again.  It is good to be in the midst of this intimate group.

I do sense that you, as people, as Urantians, are 
beginning to have hope for the future, hope for 
the world, hope that your planet survives this 
age that you are currently going through.  I do 
sense that you are beginning to be more positive, 
more forward-looking.  I do sense that you have 
determined yourselves to trudge along for the 
foreseeable future in order to bring this better 
age into reality.  And I do commend you all for 
this attitude for it benefits the future, it 
benefits the next generation.  It is no longer 
okay to be complacent or pessimistic.  There are 
too many things going on in your world for you to take on this attitude.

  The world is changing and it is getting 
better.  What you see most of the time are 
growing pains that occur here and there because 
of the changes that are occurring.  There is an 
underlying cause for the effects that you 
see.  And it is this cause that you must focus 
on; this cause of people, in general, having a 
more positive outlook, being willing to change 
their world, their planet.  There are those who 
will fight to keep things the way they are.  But 
change is stronger, change happens no matter what.

  But I do want to bring this down to a personal 
level.  For, ultimately, everything begins with 
one person and as you grow spiritually you learn 
that you have changed.  You learn that you have 
grown and have developed in such a way that if 
you were to compare yourself with some past self 
you would see the obvious.  You would see the 
changes that have occurred.  Aside from the 
physical, you would see the spiritual changes, 
the changes that are within the heart.  And, yes, 
you may even see times in which you have gone the 
other way; instead of getting better, you have 
gotten worse.  But ultimately, you always come 
around to the better.  This is the type of change 
of which I am talking about.  The change which is 
in yourself, the potential of being a better 
person, a more noble person, a person full of compassion and forgiveness.

  It is too easy to condemn and it is too easy to 
be angry at one another.  But it takes courage 
and wisdom to forgive and to love.  And I implore 
you to love one another, to care for one another 
and to forgive one another.  You are all growing 
and maturing and you all make mistakes.  Don’t be 
too quick to jump on someone who has made a 
mistake.  Learn to forgive them for one day it 
will be you who makes that mistake and you would 
like them to do the same – to forgive you.  Put 
yourself in someone else’s shoes and try to 
imagine what they are going through.  Try to 
imagine their own experiences, instead of just 
hunkering down in your own skin.  This is the 
core basis of brotherhood; loving one another and 
embracing your brothers and your sisters, knowing 
full well that they are fallible but yet have the 
potential to love and to care.

As you have matured and, most of you have, come 
to this age of wisdom in your own lives, where 
you can see the world and you pretty much know 
how it works.  Yet you are still surprised from 
time to time.  But, comparatively speaking, you 
are no longer that adolescent, that idealist, who 
thought the world should be a certain way and was 
sorely disappointed when he or she found out that 
people are not perfect.  You have discovered and 
have experienced in your own lives that people 
aren’t perfect.  And despite that fact, you have 
learned to love and forgive one another.

  I ask you to continue that.  I ask you to 
continue to grow in your own graces and mature 
with your beautiful spirituality and elevate 
yourselves to the lessons of Morontia.  For one 
day you will be there and you will be 
prepared.  This world is passing through.  It 
will be just a memory for you one day, a place of 
origin, a somewhere you left behind.  The destiny 
that is in front of you is so much greater and 
glorious; there are so many things to see and 
moments to experience.  Comparatively speaking, 
you can no longer look at your world the 
same.  You will be fascinated by your new 
adventures so that looking back to this world 
will be a sad notion.  I ask you to come out of 
the shadows of this world and elevate yourself to 
the beautiful life flowers that exist in this 
universe.  Hallow  yourselves to the calling of 
God, to the drawing power of the True Source and 
Center and begin doing that by loving one another, forgiving one another.

Are there any questions here tonight?

Stella:  You say that the world is getting 
better.  I can see that in some ways, yes, but on 
the other hand there is so much greed, anger and 
killing, it almost seems as if there is more of 
that going on.  Is the world getting better or isn’t it?

JarEl:   TR, George:  My dear Stella, the world 
is getting better.  And despite you seeing more 
of this greed, anger and hate, that is simply a 
matter of you being able to see more
because the world is more connected.  The world 
has shrunk in many respects.  You are able to see 
what is happening on the other side of this 
planet in an instant.  There has always been 
greed, anger and hate on this planet and perhaps 
there was even more in the past.  But what has 
happened now is that people are beginning to 
think in different ways and they are beginning to 
act in different ways.  And they are beginning to 
identify these greedy people, these angry 
people.  You see them more and more because your 
news agencies focus on them.  And, yes, it is a 
focus that is uncalled for.  But, yet, they do it 
to display the worst of humanity.

   But you, as people, are better than 
that.  You, as a world, have grown and have 
matured.  And there is so much greatness that is 
not shown on your televisions.  There is so much 
goodness that is yet to be displayed to the rest 
of the world. What you see is just a minority, 
sporadic events that are all over the world.  But 
they are shrinking, they are becoming less and 
less.  So that when the next time you see this 
happening, it will be a shock to you because you 
are not used to seeing it in your circle of 
friends, your own little world.  And, yes, these 
things should be shocking, should be 
abhorred.  There shouldn’t be any complacency to 
evil.  It should be contrasted with goodness and 
love.  And more and more people are denying 
evil.  More and more people are standing up 
against corruption and hate and greed.  And you 
see this happening all over the world.  That is 
why I say that the world is getting better.

Are there any other questions?

Norman:  Thank you JarEl for what you have spoken 
tonight.  I have a question.  We have an outreach 
program of reaching 50 states this coming year, 
this will be led by your servant Pato 
Banton.  How best can we assist at these events?

JarEl:  TR, George:  I am sure you know what to 
do.  I commend you for your willingness to be a 
part of this, to be the initiator of such 
events.  I also commend our brother Pato for 
giving so much of himself.  I do promise you this 
- that you will bring hundreds of people into the 
kingdom, you will illuminate them and you will 
make them aware of their reality and all this 
because of you, because of all of you.  It is 
beautiful to see this happening and here you are 
as an example of how things are changing, how 
things are getting better.  I think you are aware 
of what you need to do to improve your chances of 
succeeding and reaching more people.  I think you 
are just looking for confirmation that what you 
do is good.  So I do say to you that what you do is good.

Norman:  Thank you.

JarEl:  Are there any more questions?

Norman:  Yes, Stella’s hand and the healing of 
her illness which was due to the mistreatment at 
the hospital, is there anything besides you can 
give us as to how best to pay attention to her 
needs and help her fingers and arm get back to working in proper
order?

JarEl:  TR, George:  It is unfortunate that our 
sister Stella has suffered so.  It is a fact that 
the body deteriorates and yes, it is also a sad 
truth that humans sometimes err in 
mistreatment.  I cannot give you a clear way for 
you to solve this.  I will simply pray for 
her.  But I do know that Michael watches over her.

Are there any last questions?

Very well, I ask you once more, as a personal 
favor, that you find that change that is within 
yourself, that potential to grow, and that you 
feed it, you help it grow so that you may elevate 
yourself to that new level of consciousness.  And 
with that I leave you.  Goodnight.
